What is an MMS Ticket?
An MMS Ticket is a ticket which you can have sent to your mobile phone. You only
have to register once at the SBB Ticket Shop to be able to purchase MMS Tickets at any time of day or
night. Just call the free number 0800 22 22 11 to receive your MMS Ticket by Multimedia Messaging Service
(MMS) on your mobile phone. This number will no longer be active as of 12 December 2010. As an alternative,
you can purchase tickets via SBB Mobile.
You can also use the online SBB Ticket Shop to have tickets for selected routes
sent to your mobile phone.

What you need.
To buy an MMS Ticket you need:
- A computer with Internet access so you can register at the SBB
Ticket Shop
- A valid credit card (for payment)
- A permanent address in Switzerland, the Principality of Liechtenstein or the EU
To
be able to receive an MMS Ticket, the following technical requirements must also be met:
- Your mobile phone must be MMS-compatible.
- You must have a mobile phone contract or prepaid card with a Swiss mobile phone service
provider.

Receiving a MMS Ticket.
You will receive your MMS Ticket by MMS on your mobile phone, usually within 5 minutes
of ordering it.
Test ticket.
Before buying a MMS Ticket for the first time, we recommend that you register at
the SBB Ticket Shop (you only need do this once) and request, receive and confirm the test
ticket.
Problems.
If you can’t receive your MMS Ticket, please consult our troubleshooting
tips. Alternatively, you can purchase the ticket as an OnlineTicket and print it out yourself.
To do this, log on to the SBB Ticket Shop and click on "My orders" to
display your MMS Ticket as a PDF-format OnlineTicket and print it out.
